The participants create their candle by starting with a wick which they then begin to dip into their own choice of coloured waxes until they have a simple taper candle of many colours.

Our workshop then allows everyone to perfect their designs by cutting, pressing and kneading the wax into a myriad of shapes or alternatively you can pick one of our unique designs & we can do the shaping for you. Just a few examples are racing cars, funny faces, twisties and christmas trees.

The end product is a working quality piece of art which inspires pride and a sense of achievement. It keeps active minds and hands busy and provides an excellent change to the usual craft activities.
